Application of zinc oxide in rubber

During the vulcanization process, zinc oxide as an active agent reacts with organic accelerators, stearic acid, sulfur, etc. on the surface of zinc oxide particles. Replacing ordinary indirect zinc oxide with an equal amount of nano zinc oxide can improve the 300% tensile stress and wear resistance of vulcanized rubber, reduce compression permanent deformation, and reduce compression fatigue temperature rise; replacing indirect zinc oxide with a 50% reduction in nano zinc oxide can still ensure the performance requirements of vulcanized rubber.

1. Rubber zinc oxide has strong activity, uniform particle size, strong dispersibility, good vulcanization promotion effect, increased crosslinking density of vulcanized rubber, and made vulcanization more thorough.
2. Rubber zinc oxide can better improve the viscosity of rubber and improve the adhesion of rubber and skeleton materials such as steel wire and cord.
3. Good dynamic mechanical properties, small deformation of rubber products, less heat generation, good wear resistance, so that it has good aging resistance.
