Applications of Methyl Ethyl Ketone MEK:

1, used as cellulose acetate, acrylic resin, alkyd resin, paint, ink solvent, dye binder, lubricant dewaxing agent, vulcanization accelerator, etc

2, used as a reagent for the determination of cadmium, copper and mercury, chromatographic analysis standard material and solvent for semiconductor lithography

3, GB 2760-96 specifies the permissible use of edible spices. Mainly used to prepare cheese, coffee and banana flavor. Can also be used as extraction solvent.

4, mainly used as a solvent, such as for lubricating oil dewaxing, coating industry and a variety of resin solvents, vegetable oil extraction process and refining process azeotrope rectification. Butanone is also an intermediate in the preparation of pharmaceuticals, dyes, detergents, fragrances, antioxidants, and certain catalysts, and is used in the electronics industry as a post-lithographic developer for integrated circuits.

5. It is the raw material for preparing the acaricide pyridoamine.
