China Chemical News Network reported on August 64 that the National Bureau of Statistics released the changes in the market prices of important means of production in the circulation field in early August. According to the monitoring of the market prices of 50 important means of production in 9 categories in the national circulation field, compared with late July, the prices of 9 products rose in late August, 36 fell, and 5 remained unchanged. Among them, chemical products fluctuated.

Monitoring shows that among chemical products, the price of sulfuric acid (98%) per ton rose by 7.5% compared with late July (the same below); caustic soda (liquid alkali, 32%) fell by 0.8%; methanol (superior product) fell by 0.8%; pure benzene (petroleum benzene, industrial grade) rose by 0.6%; styrene (first-grade product) rose by 1.2%; polypropylene (drawing material) rose by 0%; polyvinyl chloride (SG5) fell by 0.7%.

Among agricultural production materials, the price of urea (small and medium-sized particles) per ton decreased by 0.8%; the price of compound fertilizer (potassium sulfate compound fertilizer, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium content 45%) decreased by 0.3%; the price of ammonium chloride increased by 0.32%; and the price of pesticide (glyphosate, 95% original drug) increased by 1.0%.
