Applications of 2-Methoxyethanol:

1. Mainly used as a solvent for oils, nitrocellulose, synthetic resins, alcohol-soluble dyes and ethyl cellulose.
2. Used as varnish fast drying agent and coating thinner,
3. Used as printing and dyeing industry penetrant and levelling agent,
4. Used as fuel industry additives.
