Ethyl acrylate is an intermediate for the preparation of carbamate insecticide carbofuran. It can also be used as a raw material for protective coatings, adhesives and paper impregnating agents. Its polymer can be used as an anti-cracking agent for leather. The copolymer with ethylene is a hot-melt adhesive, and the copolymer with 5% chloroethyl vinyl ether is a synthetic rubber with good oil resistance and heat resistance, and can replace nitrile rubber in some cases.

Applications of Ethyl Acrylate :

It is mainly used as a copolymer of synthetic resin, and the copolymer formed is widely used in coating, textile, leather, adhesive and other industries. For the synthesis of plastics and resins; Ethyl acrylate is an intermediate for the preparation of carbamate insecticide propithioncarbovir, it can also be used as a raw material for protective coatings, adhesives and paper impregnators, its polymer can be used as a crack inhibitor for leather, and the copolymer of ethylene is a hot melt adhesive, and the copolymer of 5% chloroethyl vinyl ether is a synthetic rubber with good oil resistance and heat resistance. In some cases it can replace nitrile butadiene rubber.
