Leather industry as colorant, emulsion stabilizer, solvent of printing ink, refined solvent of vitamin B12. Coating industry used for the preparation of paint thinner, paint remover, and raw material of paint. Textile industry used in the manufacture of fibre dyeing agent, organic chemical industry used in the manufacture of acetic acid ester, emulsion stabilizer, etc.
