Applications of Triethanolamine TEA:
1, Used in cosmetics as emulsifier, humectant, humidifier, thickener, pH balancing agent. It is used in cosmetic formulations to neutralize soap with fatty acids and to neutralize amine salts with sulfated fatty acids. Triethanolamine is a commonly used emulsifier in cream preparations. 2, adding triethanolamine to liquid detergent can improve oily dirt, especially the removal of non-polar sebum, and at the same time, the decontamination performance can be improved by improving the alkalinity. And it has excellent compatibility.
3, used as curing agent of epoxy resin, can also be used for natural rubber, synthetic rubber vulcanization activator, nitrile rubber polymerization activator, can also be used as lubricating oil and anti-corrosion additives. The long chain fatty acid salt of triethanolamine is almost neutral and can be used as emulsifier for oils and waxes.
4, used as a complex reagent for aluminum ions in solution.
5. Triethanolamine and its salt solution are used as engineering admixtures and early strength agents in Cement Clinker grinding process. 6. Triethanolamine oleate triethanolamine produced by reaction of triethanolamine with oleic acid under the condition of high temperature catalyst is an important preparation component of corrosion inhibitor used in boiler water treatment, automobile engine coolant, drilling and cutting oil and other mechanical processing industries. 7, used as gas chromatography fixed liquid.
8, used as a highly efficient chelating agent for various heavy metals.
9, in the alkaline zincate galvanized can be complexed with zinc, improve the cathode polarization of the plating solution, so that the coating crystallization.
10, used in the textile industry is a good solvent, hygroscopic agent. It is the raw material of fabric softener.
11. As an industrial gas purification agent, it is used to remove acidic gases such as hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide in waste gas treatment.
12. Other: pharmaceutical excipients. It can be used as a solvent for casein, shellac, dye, etc.
