Uses of Sodium Metabisulfite

Sodium metabisulfite can also be called sodium metabisulfite, sodium metabisulfite, sodium pyrosulfite and sodium metabisulfite. The product is white or yellow crystalline powder or small crystals.

Main uses

1. Used as chromatographic analysis reagent, preservative and reducing agent, used in dye and pharmaceutical industries

2. Sodium metabisulfite has a stronger reducing property than sulfite, and its effect is similar to that of sodium sulfite.

3. Used as drinking water, bleaching agent, preservative, loosening agent, antioxidant, color preservative and preservative in the food industry.
