For the treatment and adjustment of various types of wastewater, pH is also indispensable.

At present, industrial wastewater is also divided into two types of treatment: acidic and alkaline, which we collectively refer to as acid-base wastewater. This type of wastewater has the properties of acid and alkaline, is highly corrosive, and has interference with the treatment process, which will affect the water quality treatment effect. Therefore, in recent years, people often use physical and chemical methods to treat and adjust the pH of water quality, mainly by adding chemical additives. Effect of using physical and chemical polyaluminium chloride method to treat acid-base wastewater: Polyaluminium chloride has a wide range of adaptability to pH, so in recent years, it has been often used as a regulating agent for acid-base wastewater treatment in industry. The main reason is that it will not be affected by the pH value of the water during use, and it has strong adsorption and dehydration performance. It has a high removal rate for pollutants in the water and is well received by the majority of users. Advantages of using the physical and chemical polyaluminium chloride method to treat acidic and alkaline wastewater: The treatment of acidic wastewater requires measuring its dosage according to the degree of acidity, while the treatment of alkaline wastewater is relatively easier to handle, because under alkaline conditions it can give full play to its role, so that the pollutants in the water can be quickly condensed and settled, and no other additives need to be added, while acidic wastewater requires the addition of neutralizers to strengthen the treatment. At present, the treatment effect of the physical and chemical method is more advantageous than other treatment methods, and the treatment effect is obvious. In addition, with the gradual maturity of acidic and alkaline wastewater treatment technology, there are also many treatment technologies, and now acidic and alkaline wastewater has also been treated and reused.
